Hobo's
Hobo's Restaurant and Lounge, or simply Hobo's, was a restaurant, gay bar, and piano bar in Portland, Oregon's Old Town Chinatown, in the United States. Housed in a building with rare access to the Shanghai tunnels, the establishment served as a starting point for guided tours. The menu consisted of American cuisine including steakhouse fare. Hobo's was featured on the Food Network's '' Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels'' and the Travel Channel's ''Ghost Adventures'', before closing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ''Ashland Daily Tidings'' was a daily newspaper serving the city of Ashland, Oregon, United States. It was managed by Edd Rountree, a well-known columnist in the state, from 1960 to 1985. Dmae Roberts, aka D. Roberts, is a Taiwanese-American independent public radio producer, writer, actress and playwright. Much of her work focuses on cross-cultural issues or personal storytelling. Roberts was born in Taipei, Taiwan and grew up in Japan until she was eight. Her family moved to Junction City, Oregon when she was 10 years old.
