The Himachal Pradesh women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket tournaments. The team competes in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy and the Women's Senior T20 Trophy. It has never reached the final of either trophy. History The Himachal Pradesh women's cricket team was founded in 1981, and has played in the Ranji Trophy since the 1985–86 season. Harleen Deol
Harleen Kaur Deol (born 21 June 1998) is an Indian cricketer. She plays for Himachal Pradesh as an attacking right-hand batter who occasionally bowls right arm leg spin. Harleen made her Women's One Day International (WODI) debut for India against England on 22 February 2019, at Wankhede in Mumbai, becoming the second woman cricketer from Chandigarh to play for India after Taniya Bhatia. She completed her schooling from Yadavindra Public School, Mohali and subsequently made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut against England on 4 March 2019. The Senior Women's T20 Trophy, previously known as the Senior Women's T20 League, is a women's Twenty20 cricket competition held in India. It began in the 2008–09 season, with 28 teams representing state cricket associations, whilst the most recent season, 2022–23, had 37 teams competing.
