Aaron Hicks
Aaron Michael Hicks (born October 2, 1989) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, and Los Angeles Angels. Hicks was drafted by the Twins in the first round of the 2008 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2013 with the Twins and was traded to the Yankees after the 2015 season. In 2023, the Yankees released Hicks, and he signed with the Baltimore Orioles. Early life Aaron Michael Hicks was born October 2, 1989 in San Pedro, California to Joe and Jody Hicks. He is Black. Bill Hicks
William Melvin Hicks (December 16, 1961 – February 26, 1994) was an American stand-up comedian and satirist. His material— encompassing a wide range of social issues including religion, politics, and philosophy— was controversial and often steeped in dark comedy. At the age of 16, Hicks began performing at the Comedy Workshop in Houston, Texas. During the 1980s, he toured the United States extensively and made a number of high-profile television appearances, but he amassed a significant fan base in the United Kingdom, filling large venues during his 1991 tour. He also achieved some recognition as a guitarist and songwriter. Hicks died of pancreatic cancer on February 26, 1994, at the age of 32. Colin Hicks & The Cabin Boys were a British rock and roll band, led by Colin Hicks, the younger brother of singer Tommy Steele. Career In November 1957, the British music magazine ''NME'' reported that Steele's manager, Larry Parnes, had signed up Hicks, and that Hicks would undertake a ten-week variety tour with Marty Wilde. In March the following year, the same source stated that Hicks and Wilde were fulfilling contracted dates left after Terry Dene had been diagnosed as unfit to continue touring. In 1958 they made some television appearances, gained a recording contract with Pye Records, and released a few singles with the label. He last played for the Parramatta Eels of the National Rugby League (NRL).
