The Hellenic Futsal Cup is the second important competition of futsal in Greece. It started in 2000-2001 season and the first winner was A.C. Doukas School, A.C. Doukas. Keratsini () is a suburban town in the western part of the Piraeus regional unit, which in turn is a part of the Athens Urban Area. AEK Futsal Club is a Greek futsal club established in 2008 by a merger with the O.F. Geraka Futsal team. They participated in the B'Ethniki (second division) that year, where they finished 1st in the regular season and 2nd in the playoffs. AEK played again in the second division in 2009–10.
