Hell In A Cell (2017)
The 2017 Hell in a Cell was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the ninth annual Hell in a Cell and took place on October 8, 2017, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The event aired via pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming and featured wrestlers from the promotion's SmackDown brand division. Eight matches were contested at the event, including one on the Kickoff pre-show, and the main card featured two bouts in the titular match type. In the main event, Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon in the namesake match that also had the added stipulation of falls count anywhere. In the other Hell in a Cell match, which was the opening bout, The Usos ( Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) defeated The New Day (represented by Big E and Xavier Woods) to become record three-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Shane Brandon McMahon ( ; born January 15, 1970) is an American businessman and retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler best known for his tenures in WWE. The son of Vince McMahon, he is a fourth-generation wrestling promoter as a member of the McMahon family.
