Hell's Kitchen (band)
Hell's Kitchen was an American rock group formed in 1987 when the guitarist Luke Skeels decided to leave Boneless Ones due to conflict with that band's singer. When the other members heard the news, they too left en masse, and Hell's Kitchen was born. The band recruited members of Verbal Abuse and Fang, for the first lineup. The band was known for its expert musicianship and total irreverence for the music scene in general, and heavy metal in particular. After various line-up changes, the band's first release featured: Luke Skeels (guitar), Sean Condon (vocals), Troy Takaki (bass), Mike Branum (drums). Condon was later replaced by Jimi Hayes. Their songs, performed in a mock-speed-metal/punk style, include such topics as beer, Satan, chicken and The Grateful Dead. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Speed Metal
Speed metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music that originated in the late 1970s from new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) roots.K. Fang (band)
Fang is an American hardcore punk band from the early East Bay punk rock scene, established in Berkeley, California, in 1980. History The band's first record under the name Fang was an "experimental record", according to the band; this was the "Yukon Fang" single. Fang guitarist Tom Flynn and bass player Brian Beattie, his former bandmate from the bands Tapeworm and Safety Patrol, put out "Yukon Fang" as a duo, and Fang was formed. The original incarnation of Fang toured the country once, only to break up shortly thereafter with Beattie moving on to Texas where he later formed the band Glass Eye. The Grateful Dead

Spermbirds
Spermbirds are a German punk band from Kaiserslautern. Formed in 1982, by the members of the melodic punk rock band Die Walter Elf (including an American G.I. stationed in Germany as vocalist), they created a fast hardcore punk group that gained popularity in Germany and beyond. Spermbirds’ most successful album was their 1986 debut, ''Something to Prove'', which drew influence from many American hardcore punk bands. The cover features a picture of Cerebus the Aardvark created by Canadian comic book author Dave Sim. Sim made mention of the album in his widely column in ''Cerebus'', saying that although the band had not obtained permission to use his artwork, he would not harass them with legal action. Chris Kontos (musician)
Chris Kontos (born June 25, 1968) is an American drummer, born in New York City. As a former drummer of the metal band Machine Head, he performed on their first album, 1994's ''Burn My Eyes''. He and the band parted ways in 1995, before their second album. He played in many bands and projects before and after that period of time, including Testament, Konkhra, Attitude Adjustment, Exodus, Death Angel, and Verbal Abuse. Kontos is recognized by his peers for his performance on songs—notably in " Davidian"—which are "considered by many as classic pieces of metal drumming".
