August Heintze
(Sven) August Heintze (1881–1941) (sometimes spelled Heinze) was a Swedish botanist. Life Heintze was born on 26 September 1881 to Fredrik and Kerstin (née Svensson) Heintze in Skurup, Scania, Skåne. He had a younger sister, Anna Maria (b. 1889). He enrolled as a student at Lund University in 1901. He graduated in 1906, and earned his doctorate in 1913. His first position was as a teacher at Uddevalla kommunalgymnasium. Heintze died on 6 May 1941 in Stockholm, and is buried in the Skurups Norra Kyrkogård ("Skurup's Northern Cemetery"). Horst Heintze
Horst Heintze (15 August 1927 – 14 December 1997) was a German trades union official and politician. Through the union movement he rose to become a member of the People's Chamber (''Volkskammer'') in the German Democratic Republic and, from 1963, a member of the powerful Party Central Committee. He was unusual in rising this far through the power structure of the country despite having been a Nazi Party member in his youth. Life Horst Heinte was born into a working-class family in Halle, a substantial city in the northern half of what then counted as central Germany. Between 1942 and 1944 he trained for industrial work in the metal-based industry sector. On 20 April 1944, like many Hitler Youth members born in 1926/27, he was recruited into the country's ruling Nazi Party. War ended in defeat for Germany in May 1945. Jan Heintze
Jan Heintze (; born 17 August 1963) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a left-sided defensive midfielder and defender. He ended his career in the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven, where he was a part of the PSV team which won the 1988 European Cup. He played 86 matches for the Denmark national team in the course of 15 years, playing four international tournaments with the team, which he captained in his last two years before he retired in 2003. Club career Born in Tårnby, he started playing for his hometown club Tårnby Boldklub. He had a short spell in the youth team of Københavns boldklub (KB) alongside future national team player Michael Laudrup, but Heintze quickly moved on to play for the senior side of Kastrup Boldklub in January 1981, then in the top-flight Danish 1st Division. Marion Heintze
Marion Heintze (née Worch; born 5 September 1954) is a German chess Woman International Master (1983) who won East Germany Women's Chess Championship (1985). Chess career In 1985 Heintze won the East Germany Women's Chess Championship held in Jüterbog, and she also won the East Germany Women's Blitz Championships in 1969, 1972 and 1976. At the Chess Olympiad 1990 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, she and the East Germany Women's team came 11th in the women's competition and, with 8 points from 11 games, achieved the fourth-best result on the third board. After the German reunification Heintze was also German Women's Chess Team Champion with the chess club ''SVg Lasker Steglitz'' in the German Women's Chess Bundesliga 1991/92. With a result of 9 points from 10 games, she was the most successful player on her team. Wilhelm Heintze
Georg Wilhelm Heintze (4 July 1849 – 10 January 1895) was a Swedish organist, music educator and music conductor. Biography Wilhelm Heintze was the son of organist Gustaf Wilhelm Heintze, and studied music at the Stockholm Conservatory from 1865–70. In 1871 he became conductor and in 1872 music director of the Jönköping Regiment Band. He served as organist of the St. Jacob Parish in Stockholm from 1881–89, and as the Lund University Music Director and cathedral organist in Lund from 1889–95. He was elected to the Royal Academy of Music in 1882. Organist Gustaf Hjalmar Heintze was his son.
