Hashim Nadeem
Hashim Nadeem () is an Urdu language, Urdu novelist, poet and screenwriter from Pakistan. Through his scripts of television serials, he established himself among the well-known writers of the industry. Beginning his screenwriting career in the late 2010s, Nadeem is also the recipient of Lux Style Award and President's Pride of Performance. Work Nadeem's popular novels include ''Bachpan Ka December'', ''Abdullah'' and ''Khuda Aur Muhabbat''. He first shot into fame in 2012 with spiritual romance Khuda Aur Muhabbat (season 1), ''Khuda Aur Muhabbat'' (season 1), which was based on his own novel of the same name, and later followed by two seasons. In 2015, he made his cinematic debut by directing the drama, ''Abdullah: The Final Witness''. His later scripts include ''Dhaani (serial), Dhaani'', ''Visaal'' and ''Ishq Zahe Naseeb'', the latter of which earned him a nomination of Best TV Writer at Lux Style Awards. The Pride of Performance (), officially known as the Presidential Pride of Performance, is an award bestowed by the Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan to recognize people with "notable achievements in the field of art, science, literature, sports, and nursing". The Pride of Performance is the highest national literary award of Pakistan conferred upon its Pakistanis, citizens and, while it recognizes literary contribution, it can also be conferred upon foreign nationals. ''Parizaad'' () is an Urdu-language novel by Pakistani author Hashim Nadeem. The novel revolves around the titular protagonist who is always mocked due to his personality and name. Whereas the story bears similarities with Bollywood movie Mera Naam Joker, where protagonist suffers the same fate of losing his love and grief over his poverty and profession. ''Jhok Sarkar'' () is a Pakistani television series that originally broadcast on Hum TV. The series was produced by Momina Duraid, directed by Saife Hassan and written by Hashim Nadeem. Jhoom (TV Series)
Jhum or Jhoom cultivation is the form of slash-and-burn agriculture that is practised in certain parts of Northeast India and by the indigenous communities in Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh. It is a traditional agricultural technique that involves clearing land of trees and other vegetation, burning it, and then cultivating it for a set number of years.
