''Hasamba Generation 3'' () is a television series that broadcast on the Israeli channels HOT3 and Arutz HaYeladim. "Hasamba" is a fictional children's group from the eponymous children's adventure novel series by Yigal Mossinson. Plot The name is a pun: "dor 3" refers to both the third generation, i.e., grandparents, and the 3G technology of cell phones. The TV series tells the story of Hasamba over 50 years after its creation, when they are around the age of 70. Tamar and Yaron married and they had a son named Uri, who was killed for some reason (so they think). Their granddaughter, Renen, lived with them after the death of her father. The real story on Renen's father, was revealed in the first episode: Sunny Zorkin, CEO of Israel's largest cellular communications company, "Zorcom", grabbed it after guarding state secrets. Yigal Mossinson
Yigal Mossinson (; 25 December 1917 – 1 May 1994), also known as Igal Mossinsohn, Yigal Mosenzon and Yig'al Mosinzon, was an Israeli novelist, playwright, and inventor. He was the author of the Hasamba children's book series. Among his many awards was the David's Violin Prize for '' Casablan'', the 1954 play upon which the Israeli musical comedy stage and screen hit ''Kazablan'' was based. Biography Mossinson, son of Asher Mossinson and his wife Dvora, was born in Ottoman Palestine in 1917, in the moshav Ein Ganim, located near Petah Tikva; he grew up in Tel Aviv. Later on Mossinson studied in Beit Alfa and in the youth village of Ben Shemen. Afterward he moved to the Kibbutz Na'an, where he lived from 1938 to 1950. In 1943 Mossinson joined the Palmach. Yaron London
Yaron London (; born 24 August 1940) is an Israeli media personality, journalist, actor and songwriter. Biography Yaron London was born in Tel Aviv. His father was an actor, Bezalel London. London's surname does not indicate British roots, but rather originate from the fact that registration officials mistakenly changed the original surname "Ledman" to "London". London studied at Herzliya Hebrew High School and the agricultural boarding school HaKfar HaYarok. In 1961, after serving in the Israel Defense Forces, IDF, he moved to Jerusalem to study graphics at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. He lives in Afeka, Tel Aviv.
