Hana Highway
The Hana Highway (colloquially referred to as The Road to Hana) is a stretch of Hawaii Routes 36 and 360 which connects Kahului, Hawaii, Kahului to the town of Hana, Hawaii, Hana in east Maui. To the east of Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kipahulu, Hawaii, Kipahulu as Hawaii Route 31 (the Piilani Highway). Although Hana is only about from Kahului, an uninterrupted car-trip takes about 2.5 hours to drive, since the highway is very winding, narrow, and passes over 59 bridges, of which 46 are only one lane wide. There are approximately 620 curves along Route 360 from just east of Kahului to Hana, almost all of it through lush, Hawaiian tropical rainforests, tropical rainforest. Many of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910 and all but one are still in use. Hana, Hawaii
Hāna is a census-designated place (CDP) in Maui County, Hawaii, United States. The population was 1,526 at the 2020 census. Hāna is located at the eastern end of the island of Maui and is one of the most isolated communities in the state. It is reached mainly via the Hana Highway, a long, winding, highway along Maui's northern shore, via boat, and with commercial air service to Hana Airport. History Like most of Hawaii, Hāna was probably first settled between 500 and 800 AD by Polynesian peoples. The first sugarcane plantation in the area was established by George Wilfong in 1849, and by 1883 there were six plantations operating in the area. Haná or Hanakia ( or ''Hanácko'', or ''Hanakei'') is an ethnographic region in central Moravia in the Czech Republic. Etymology The region was named after the Haná (river), Haná River. Description Its core area is located along the eponymous river of Haná (river), Haná, around the city of Prostějov and the town of Vyškov, but in common perception it roughly corresponds to the whole Upper Morava Valley, with Olomouc as its natural centre. Mariko Kouda
is a Japanese actress, voice actress, J-pop singer and radio personality. She graduated from Kasukabe Kyōei High School and went on to major in Communications at Tamagawa University in Machida City, Tokyo, graduating in 1990. Kouda has had at least one song appear on the program '' Minna no Uta''. She was a member of the J-pop voice acting group, Drops, until they disbanded.
