Hampshire Women Cricket Team
The Hampshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Hampshire, and was a replacement for regional team Southern Vipers. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including the Rose Bowl, Arundel Castle Cricket Ground, and Falkland CC. They are captained by Georgia Adams. They currently play in the Women's One-Day Cup and the Women's T20 Blast History 1811–1996: Early History Hampshire Women played their first recorded match in 1811, against Surrey Women. They then went on to play various one-off matches against neighbouring counties, sometimes as a combined team with Dorset. 2002 Women's County Championship
The 2002 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 6th cricket Women's County Championship season. It took place in July and saw 21 county teams compete in a series of divisions. Yorkshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division, achieving their fifth Championship title in six seasons. Competition format Teams played matches within a series of divisions, with the winners of the top division being crowned County Champions. Matches were played using a one-day format with 50 overs per side. The championship works on a points system with positions within the divisions being based on the total points. Points were awarded as follows: Win: 12 points. Tie: 6 points. Loss: Bonus points. No Result: 11 points. Abandoned: 11 points. Up to five batting and five bowling points per side were also available. 2019 Women's Twenty20 Cup
The 2019 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2019 Vitality Women's Twenty20 Cup was the 11th cricket Women's Twenty20 Cup tournament. It took place in June, with 35 teams taking part: 33 county teams plus Scotland and Wales. Warwickshire Women won the Twenty20 Cup, as winners of Division 1, therefore achieving their first title. Providence Cowdrill
Providence Ann Courtenay Cowdrill (born 31 March 1999) is an English cricketer who plays as a right-arm leg break bowler. She has played for Hampshire and Southern Vipers. Early life Cowdrill was born on 31 March 1999 in Frimley, Surrey. Domestic career Cowdrill made her county debut in 2015, for Hampshire against Devon, and took 3/7 from 1.5 overs. In 2016, she hit her Twenty20 high score, of 33 * against Wales. In 2017, Cowdrill took 10 wickets at an average of 18.60 in the County Championship as Hampshire were promoted to Division 1. Suzie Bates
Suzannah Wilson Bates (born 16 September 1987) is a New Zealand cricketer and former captain of national women cricket team. Born in Dunedin, she plays domestic cricket for the Otago Sparks, as well as for the White Ferns. She currently holds the highest score and highest batting average in the New Zealand Women's Twenty20 cricket team. She won the ICC Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2013. Charlotte Edwards
Charlotte Marie Edwards (born 17 December 1979) is an English former cricketer and current cricket coach and commentator. She played primarily as a right-handed batter. She appeared in 23 Test matches, 191 One Day Internationals and 95 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 1996 and 2016. England National Women's Cricket Team
The England women's cricket team represents England and Wales in international women's cricket. Since 1998, they have been governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), having been previously governed by the Women's Cricket Association. England is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council, with Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Hampshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division with Yorkshire finishing runners-up. It ran from April to August and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions.
