Molla Hüsrev
Molla Hüsrev or Mullā Khusraw was a 15th-century Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Ulama, scholar and mufti. Early life He was born possibly in 1397, possibly in the village of :tr:Kargın, Yıldızeli, Kargın, near :tr:Çırçır, Yıldızeli, Çırçır, Yıldızeli District, Yıldızeli, Sivas (or perhaps in Yerköy, near Yozgat). He was the son of Ferâmurz or Ferâmerz of the Turkoman (ethnonym), Turkmen :tr:Varsak Türkmenleri, Varsak tribe of the Sivas-Tokat region. His given name was Mehmed. Two stories have been given to explain the name Hüsrev. One is that after the death of Ferâmurz, Mehmed was taken in by his sister's husband Hüsrev, because of which he was nicknamed Hüsrev's Sibling-in-law, In-Law (''Hüsrev Kaynı''), later shortened to Hüsrev. The other is that Mehmed had an older brother named Hüsrev, because of which he was nicknamed Hüsrev's Brother (''Ehû Hüsrev''), later shortened to Hüsrev. Gazi Hüsrev Pasha
Gazi Hüsrev Pasha (died March 1632), also called Boşnak Hüsrev Pasha ("Hüsrev Pasha the Bosnian") or Ekrem Hüsrev Pasha ("Hüsrev Pasha the Kind"), was an Ottoman Grand Vizier of Bosnian descent during the reign of Murad IV. Early life He hailed from the Sanjak of Bosnia. He studied in the Enderun palace school. In 1625, he was promoted to be a vizier (minister). During the second Abaza rebellion, Damad Halil Pasha, then grand vizier, attempted to capture the fort of Erzurum (in eastern Turkey), then under the control of Abaza Mehmed Pasha, the leader of the rebellion. However, after a siege of 70 days, Damad Halil Pasha failed to capture the city and was dismissed from the post. Hüsrev Pasha was appointed as the new grand vizier on April 6, 1628. Münir Hüsrev Göle
Münir Hüsrev Göle (1890–1955) was a Turkish politician who was cofounder of the Republican People's Party. He served as the minister of interior between 1947 and 1949. He was a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Turkish Parliament for four terms. Early life and education Göle was born in Bayburt in 1890. He received a degree in political science in 1912. Career Göle worked at the Ministry of Interior and served as a district governor. He was Mutasarrif, mutasarrıf or governor of Afyonkarahisar. Deli Husrev Pasha (, , ) ( 1495 – 1544) was an Ottoman Bosnian statesman from the Sanjak of Bosnia. His epithet "deli" means "crazy" in Ottoman Turkish, which was ascribed to him because of his quick temper. Biography He was born in 1495 as one of the early members of the Sokolović family (which would go on to spawn some of the greatest statesmen of the Empire). His exact birthplace is unknown. Some historians place it near the Glasinac Plateau near Sarajevo, while others put it more eastward, to the Podrinje region of Bosnia. His younger brother was Lala Mustafa Pasha. Gazi Husrev Bey
Gazi Husrev Bey (, ''Gāzī Ḫusrev Beğ''; Modern Turkish: ''Gazi Hüsrev Bey''; ; 1484–1541) was an Ottoman Bosnian sanjak-bey (governor) of the Sanjak of Bosnia in 1521–1525, 1526–1534, and 1536–1541. He was known for his successful conquests and campaigns to further Ottoman expansion into Croatia and Hungary. Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque (, ) is a mosque in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Built in the 16th century, it is the largest historical mosque in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the most representative Ottoman structures in the Balkans.
