Hüseyin Alkan (born 1 April 1988, in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul Province) is a Turkish national goalball player of class B1 and Paralympian. He lost his eyesight at the age of 19 as a result of workplace accident. Küçükçekmece (; meaning “small-drawer”, from much earlier ''Rhegion'' (Greek: Ρήγιον) and ''Küçükçökmece as “little breakdown''" or “''little depression''”, in more ancient times just as Bathonea), is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 44 km2, and its population was 326,452 in 2022. It is 23 kilometers west of the city centre and lies next to Lake Küçükçekmece. The Paralympic Games or Paralympics is a periodic series of international multisport events involving athletes with a range of disabilities.
