The Governor of Entre Ríos ( es, Gobernador de la Provincia de Entre Ríos) is a citizen of the Entre Ríos Province, in Argentina, holding the office of governor for the corresponding period. Gustavo Bordet
Gustavo Bordet (born February 21, 1962) is an Argentine politician, the governor of Entre Ríos Province. He has previously served as mayor of Concordia, Entre Ríos. Bordet was born in Concordia, Entre Ríos in 1962. He worked as a legislator of the city council. Governor Jorge Busti appointed him minister of health of the province in 2005, when Graciela López de Degani resigned because of a scandal. He was elected mayor of Concordia in 2007, and reelected in 2011. He was elected governor of Entre Ríos in 2015. His vice minister, Adán Bahl, was minister of the outgoing governor Sergio Urribarri. Mario Armando Moine (born 13 November 1949) is an Argentine politician and businessman. Moine was born in , Entre Ríos, in 1949, and grew up in a nearby rural area, and well as in Maciá. The Legislature of Entre Ríos ( es, Legislatura de la Provincia de Entre Ríos) is the local legislature of the Argentinian province of Entre Ríos. It is a bicameral body, comprising the Chamber of Deputies of Entre Ríos (34 members), and the Senate of Entre Ríos (17 members). It is one of eight bicameral legislatures in the country. It is elected by a general provincial first-past-the-post voting (Senate), mixed bonus system and proportional representation for the Chamber, and renewed every 2 years by electing a new half of each house. María Laura Stratta (born 22 February 1976) is an Argentine politician, currently serving as Vice Governor of Entre Ríos Province, deputising for Governor Gustavo Bordet, since 10 December 2019. Sergio Daniel Urribarri (born 7 October 1958) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician and former governor of Entre Ríos Province. Since 2020 he has been Argentina's ambassador to Israel. Pedro Guillermo Angel Guastavino (born 1 July 1954 in Gualeguaychú) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician. Between 2007 and 2019, he sat in the Argentine Senate representing Entre Ríos Province in the block of the majority Front for Victory. Guastavino qualified as a lawyer at the National University of La Plata. In 1987 he joined the national government as Director of Promotion at the Ministry of Social Action, then becoming subsecretary of social action in the same ministry. Elections In Argentina
At the national level, Argentina elects a head of state (the President) and a legislature. The franchise extends to all citizens aged 16 and over, and voting is mandatory (with a few exceptions) for all those who are between 18 and 70 years of age.
