Aage Bertelsen Glacier
Bertelsen Glacier ( da, Bertelsen Gletscher) is a glacier in northern Greenland.Google Earth Administratively it belongs to the Northeast Greenland National Park. Between 2006 and 2010 there was an automatic weather station near the glacier. The glacier was mapped with accuracy by Lauge Koch during an aerial survey in May 1938. It had previously not been seen by Robert Peary during his 1902 exploration of the area that put the adjacent Moore Glacier in the map. The glacier was named in honour of Aage Bertelsen, who had taken part in the 1906–1908 Danmark Expedition. Geography The Bertelsen Glacier is one of the main glaciers in eastern Peary Land. It is a valley glacier, a branch of the larger, northwest-flowing Moore Glacier, joining it from the northeast. It is located in the area of the easternmost subranges of the Roosevelt Range, between the H. H. Benedict Range to the southwest and the Daly Range to the northeast. Bruckner Glacier ( da, Brückner Gletscher), is a glacier in eastern Greenland. Geography The Bruckner Glacier originates in the Eastern side of the Greenland Ice Sheet. It flows eastward about to the south of the Heim Glacier. It has its terminus in the eastern side of the head of Johan Petersen Fjord separated by nunataks from the terminus of the Heim Glacier.GoogleEarth Together the Bruckner and Heim glaciers discharge icebergs into the inner part of the fjord.''Prostar Sailing Directions 2005 Greenland and Iceland Enroute'', p. 104 Bibliography''Climate-related glacier fluctuations in southeast Greenland''h1> See also *List of glaciers in Greenland This is a list of glaciers in Greenland. Bredebrae
Bredebrae ( da, Bredebræ; "Broad Glacier"), sometimes also known as "Brede Glacier", is a large glacier in northeastern Greenland. It has its terminus on the east coast of the Greenland ice sheet. Geography The mighty Bredebrae is the front or the confluence of two very large glaciers, the Storstrommen flowing from the north and the L. Bistrup Brae from the south. Bredebrae is a broad glacier producing masses of large icebergs with its terminus to the north and west of Lindhard Island at the head of Borge Fjord, west of Dove Bay, Greenland Sea. A huge amount of ice constantly drifts out of the fjord from the glacier, completely clogging the entrance of the fjord with multitude of irregularly-shaped icebergs.''Prostar Sailing Directions 2005 Greenland and Iceland Enroute'', p. 126 See also *List of glaciers in Greenland This is a list of glaciers in Greenland. Like the fjord further south, this glacier was named by Robert Peary after Bowdoin College. He described the glacier as follows: Geography The Bowdoin Glacier discharges at the head of the Bowdoin Fjord from the Greenland Ice Sheet to the northeast of Prudhoe Land. The glacier flows roughly from NE to SW. Google Earth See also *List of glaciers in Greenland This is a list of glaciers in Greenland. Balder Glacier
Baldr (also Balder, Baldur) is a god in Germanic mythology. In Norse mythology, Baldr (Old Norse: ) is a son of the god Odin and the goddess Frigg, and has numerous brothers, such as Thor and Váli. In wider Germanic mythology, the god was known in Old English as , and in Old High German as , all ultimately stemming from the Proto-Germanic theonym ('hero' or 'prince'). During the 12th century, Danish accounts by Saxo Grammaticus and other Danish Latin chroniclers recorded a euhemerized account of his story. Compiled in Iceland during the 13th century, but based on older Old Norse poetry, the ''Poetic Edda'' and the ''Prose Edda'' contain numerous references to the death of Baldr as both a great tragedy to the Æsir and a harbinger of Ragnarök. According to ''Gylfaginning'', a book of Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda, Baldr's wife is Nanna and their son is Forseti. Baldr had the greatest ship ever built, Hringhorni, and there is no place more beautiful than his hall, Breidablik ...

Amdrup Glacier
Vice Admiral Sir Georg Carl Amdrup (Copenhagen, Denmark, November 19, 1866 – Copenhagen, January 15, 1947), RN was a Danish naval officer, Vice Admiral and Greenland researcher. Career In 1884, Amdrup, of the Royal Danish Navy, was sent to Amassalik. After wintering, he explored the coast to the north, including an examination of the Kangerlussuaq Fjord, known until then only from Inuit reports. He mapped a large length of coastline while collecting many geological and ethnological finds. By July 1885, he reached Aggas Island (67° 22' North), the furthest north of this survey. Carlsbergfondet Expedition til Ost-Gronland Lieutenant Amdrup was the leader of a major Danish expedition in 1898-1900, the Carlsberg Foundation Expedition to East Greenland (Carlsbergfondet Expedition til Ost-Gronland).
