Giv'on HaHadashah ( he, גִּבְעוֹן הַחֲדָשָׁה, ''lit.'' New Gibeon) is an Israel settlement in the West Bank, built over land expropriated from the neighboring Palestinian Palestinians ( ar, الفلسطينيون, ; he, פָלַסְטִינִים, ) or Palestinian people ( ar, الشعب الفلسطيني, label=none, ), also referred to as Palestinian Arabs ( ar, الفلسطينيين العرب, label=non ... villages of Biddu, Jerusalem, Biddu, Beit Ijza, and Al Jib. Gibeon ( he, , ''Gīḇəʻōn''; grc-gre, Γαβαων, ''Gabaōn'') was a Canaanite and, later, an Israelite city which was located north of Jerusalem.
