Margaret Giggs
Margaret Clement or Clements (1508–1570), née Giggs, was one of the most educated women of the Tudor era and the foster daughter of Sir Thomas More. Biography Clement's maiden name was Giggs. She was born in 1508 and was the daughter of a gentleman of Norfolk. Sir Thomas More was her legal guardian, bringing her up from a child with his own daughter who was also named Margaret. Algebra was probably her special study and More had an "algorisme stone" of hers with him in the Tower of London during his imprisonment, which he sent back to her the day before his execution in 1535. In devotion to her Catholic faith and to its adherents, she risked her life to aid the Carthusian Martyrs, monks starved to death in prison for refusal to renounce the Faith. She obtained also the shirt in which Thomas More suffered, and preserved it as a relic. Rebecca Giggs is a Perth-based Australian nonfiction writer, known for ''Fathoms: The World in the Whale''. Career Giggs studied at the University of Western Australia. She holds an LLB, BA Arts (Hons) and a PhD in ecological literary studies conferred in 2014. Giggs is an honorary fellow at the Macquarie University in Sydney. She was awarded the 2017 Mick Dark flagship fellowship by Varuna for "The Whale in the Room", the working title for ''Fathoms''. She won support from Writers Victoria through the Neilma Sidney Literary Travel Fund to visit the Rachel Carson Centre for Environment and Society in Munich, Germany as a writing fellow in 2018. Ryan Joseph Giggs (né Wilson; 29 November 1973) is a Welsh football coach and former player. Regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, Giggs played his entire professional career for Manchester United and briefly served as the club's interim manager. The son of rugby union and Wales international rugby league footballer Danny Wilson, Giggs was born in Cardiff but moved to Manchester at the age of six when his father joined Swinton RLFC. Nathaniel Thompson (born 11 May 1983), better known professionally as Giggs, is a British rapper and songwriter from Peckham, London. He released his debut studio album ''Walk in da Park'' in 2008 and released a follow-up album ''Let Em Ave It'' the following year. Giggs released his third studio album ''When Will It Stop'' in October 2013. In 2016, Giggs released his fourth album ''Landlord'', which entered and peaked at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart – becoming the highest-charting album of his career. His mixtape '' Wamp 2 Dem'' was released in 2017 and also debuted at No. 2. His latest album ''Now or Never'' was released in 2020. Giggs Hill Green
Giggs Hill Green is a triangular park in Thames Ditton bordered on one side by the Portsmouth Road which has, since 1833, contained as a major part of it, the village's cricket green. Previously part of the waste (unproductive land) with a high subsoil of clay, gravel and flint belonging to the manor of Kingston, the of Giggs Hill Green were purchased in 1901 for £250 () by Esher and Dittons Urban District Council.
