He played in the National Basketball League for the Chicago Bruins in two games and averaged 1.0 points per game. Sir George Henry Morse (27 May 1857 – 1 April 1931) was an English brewer, administrator and mountaineer. He was Lord Mayor of Norwich and later President of the Alpine Club. Early life Morse was born in 1857, second son of Charles Morse of Aylsham, Norfolk, JP, DL, a barrister and partner in the brewery of Steward, Patteson Fitch & Co., and Mary Harriet, daughter of Commander Robert Isacke, of the East India Company's Navy. The Morses were a junior branch of a landed gentry family of Lound, Suffolk, with a long history in Norwich; Charles Morse's great-grandfather, John Morse, was Mayor of Norwich for 1781.Patrick T. R. George Washington Morse (24 June 1816 – 9 November 1909) was a Seventh-day Adventist pioneer. As a Millerite Adventist, he experienced the Great Advent Awakening including the Great Disappointment of October 22, 1844. He joined the Sabbath-keeping Adventists in the late 1840s and remained a member until he died 60 years later.
