Gymnastics At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Men's Artistic Qualification
Qualification for men's artistic gymnastics competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 27 July 2024 at the Accor Arena (referred to as the Bercy Arena due to IOC sponsorship rules). The results of the qualification determined the qualifiers to the finals: 8 teams in the team final, 24 gymnasts in the individual all-around final, and 8 gymnasts in each of six apparatus finals. The competition was divided into three subdivisions. Subdivisions Gymnasts from nations taking part in the team all-around event were grouped together while the remaining gymnasts were grouped into one of six mixed groups. The groups were divided into the three subdivisions after a draw held by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique. The groups rotated through each of the six apparatuses together. Results . Andrei Vasile Muntean (born 30 January 1993) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. He represented Romania at the 2016 Summer Olympics and placed sixth on the Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Men's parallel bars, parallel bars. Hur Woong (gymnast)
Hur Woong (; born 18 December 1999) is a South Korean male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Asian Championships. He represented South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Early life Hur was born in Seoul in 1999. Gymnastics career In early 2024 Hur began competing at the World Cups in hopes of qualifying to the 2024 Olympic Games. He first competed at the Cairo World Cup where he won silver on pommel horse behind Ahmad Abu Al-Soud of Jordan. He next competed at the Cottbus World Cup where he won bronze on pommel horse behind Nariman Kurbanov and Al-Soud. At the World Cup in Baku Hur fell during his routine and did not advance to the event final. Lais Najjar (born October 8, 2002) is a Syrian-American artistic gymnast. He represented Syria at the 2024 Olympic Games. Personal life Najjar was born in Chicago, Illinois in 2002 to Chirin Chahkhachiro and Maher Najjar. He spent much of his childhood living in Syria while his father, a pulmonologist, traveled back and forth between the two locations. Omar Mohamed Fathy (, born 10 February 1999) is an Egyptian artistic gymnast. He is a four-time African all-around champion (2018, 2021, 2023, 2024), and he competed at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics. Vahagn Davtyan (, born August 18, 1988) is an Armenian gymnast and member of the Armenia national team. He is a three-time European medalist and one-time European Games medalist on rings. Nariman Kurbanov
Nariman Khusanjanuly Kurbanov (; born 6 December 1997) is a Kazakhstani artistic gymnast who is a pommel horse specialist. He is the 2024 Olympic silver medalist as well as the 2023 and 2024 Asian champion on the event. He is also the 2022 Asian Games bronze medalist on the pommel horse. Shek Wai Hung (; born 10 October 1991) is an artistic gymnast from Hong Kong. He is the current Asian Games champion on vault. Gymnastics career Shek started gymnast training at the age of six.
