Galician–Portuguese ( or ; or ), also known as Old Galician–Portuguese, Galaic-Portuguese, or (in contexts focused on one of the modern languages) Old Galician, Old Portuguese, Medieval Galician or Medieval Portuguese, was a West Iberian Romance language spoken in the Middle Ages, in the northwest area of the Iberian Peninsula. Marcelo Antônio Guedes Filho (born 20 May 1987), commonly known as Marcelo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Career Santos Born in São Vicente, Marcelo began his career at Santos, making his first team debut in the 2007 season. He won the Campeonato Paulista with the club that season. He also helped his team qualify to Copa Libertadores semifinals in the 2007 season as well as to quarterfinals in the following campaign. Paulo Roberto Nunes Guedes (born 24 August 1949) is a Brazilian economist and co-founder of the investment bank BTG Pactual. He is also a co-founder of the think-tank Instituto Millenium, and was the economic advisor for the campaign of President Jair Bolsonaro. Ivanílton Sérgio Guedes, usually known as Sérgio Guedes (born 7 November 1962), is a Brazilian football coach and former goalkeeper. He is the current head coach of Grêmio Prudente. Amâncio d'Alpoim Miranda "Pancho" Guedes (Lisbon, Portugal, 13 May 1925 – Graaff-Reinet, South Africa, 7 November 2015) was a Portuguese architect, sculptor, painter, and educator.
