Greg Page (boxer)
Greg Page (October 25, 1958 – April 27, 2009) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1979 to 2001, and held the WBA heavyweight title from 1984 to 1985. He outpointed Heavyweight World Champions Tim Witherspoon, James Smith and knocked Gerrie Coetzee out. He was also a regular sparring partner for Mike Tyson, famously knocking down the then-undefeated world champion during a 1990 session. Amateur career Page, after a brief stint with a Southern Indiana trainer, started amateur boxing at age 15 under the tutelage of Leroy Emerson at the Louisville Parks Department gym in the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood. He first came to the public's attention by sparring several rounds with the iconic Muhammad Ali. Greg Page (musician)
Gregory John Page, (born 16 January 1972) is an Australian singer, musician and actor. He is best known as the original lead singer and a founding member of the children's band the Wiggles from 1991 to 2006 and then again in 2012. Starting with his self-titled debut album, since 1998, Page has recorded several solo albums, his latest, ''Here Comes Christmas!'', being released in 2015. Since the mid 2000s, Page has suffered from severe health problems, which caused his early departure from the Wiggles and brief retirement in 2006; his 2012 album ''Let It Be Me'', began production in 2004, but was postponed due to his health conditions. Since coming out of retirement in 2009, Page has been performing live on stage again, including a handful of guest appearances with the original members of the Wiggles. Sir Gregory Page, 1st Baronet (c. 1669 – 25 May 1720), of Greenwich, Kent, was an English brewer, merchant and Whig politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1708 and 1720. Early life Page was the eldest son of Gregory Page (died 1693) and his second wife Elizabeth Burton. Page Senior was a wealthy London merchant, shipwright and director of the British East India Company, who owned a brewery in Wapping. He was also an Alderman of the City of London in 1687. Sir Gregory Page, 2nd Baronet (c. 1695 – 4 August 1775), was an English art collector and landowner, and a baronet in the Baronetage of Great Britain.
