Jonathan Rees (born 21 March 1968), known professionally as Greg Ellis, is an English actor who has worked in film, television, video games, and theatre. He is, among other roles, known for playing Chief Engineer Olson in ''Star Trek'' (2009), Theodore Groves in Disney's '' Pirates of the Caribbean'' (2003, 2007-2011), and Trevor Wilcox in ''Touch'' (2013), as well as voice roles such as Anders in '' Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening'' (2010), Cullen in multiple ''Dragon Age'' games, and Jet-Vac in the '' Skylanders'' video game series, as well as in the series '' Skylanders Academy.'' Greg Ellis (American Football)
Gregory Lemont Ellis (born August 14, 1975) is a former defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. He was selected in the first round of the 1998 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of North Carolina, and was recognized as an All-American. Early life Ellis was born in Wendell, North Carolina. He attended East Wake High School in Wendell. He was named Male High School Athlete of the Year in 1993 by the ''Raleigh News and Observer''. College career Ellis accepted a football scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). As a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) freshman in 1994, he had four sacks a back-up defensive end. As a sophomore in 1995, he was named the starter at right defensive end and was named first-team All-ACC. Greg Ellis is an American drums, drummer and percussionist, known for his work in film and world music, living in Los Angeles. He has performed and recorded with artists from almost every continent, including Zakir Hussain, Airto, KODO, Mickey Hart’s Planet Drum, Juno Reactor, Billy Idol, Sonu Nigam, Sussan Deyhim, Hamed Nikpay, Bickram Ghosh, Chiwoniso Maraire, Sugizo and many more. At the start of his career as a touring and session drummer, Ellis discovered hand percussion after reading Mickey Hart’s “Drumming At The Edge Of Magic.” He began collecting percussion instruments during his travels around the world as a touring musician. The instruments and music from these cultures sensitized Ellis to a different form of melody and composition than his Western classical background offered.
