The Greek Football Cup (), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Betsson Greek Cup for sponsorship reasons is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second-most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. The organizing authority of the institution is the Hellenic Football Federation ( EPO). Since its inception in 1931 it has been held 83 times, with a cup winner being crowned on 82 occasions. The final in 1962 being the only occasion when no champion was crowned. Olympiacos is the most successful club, having reached the final 43 times and earning 29 trophies. The Hellenic Football Federation (HFF), (), is the governing body of football in Greece. It contributes in the organisation of Super League Greece 2. It is also responsible for the organization of the Greek Cup, Gamma Ethniki (3rd ranked men's football championship in Greece), the Greece national team and from 2025-26 season for the Greek Super Cup. 1932–33 Greek Football Cup
The 1932–33 Greek Football Cup was the second edition of the Greek Football Cup contested by 19 teams. AEK Athens unsuccessfully defended their 1932 title losing to Ethnikos Piraeus in the knock out second round. Aris would unsuccessfully defend their tournament winning streak, losing by 2–1 to Ethnikos Piraeus in the final replay on March 5, at Leoforos Alexandras Stadium against Aris. The Super League Greece 2 () is the second division of professional Association football, football in Greece, serving as a feeder league to the top level Super League Greece, Super League 1. Made up of 20 teams in two groups, it is usually played from September to May. Two-legged Tie
In sports (especially association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg. The 1991–92 Greek Football Cup was the 50th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. It was held in 6 rounds, included final. Until quarter-finals, there were not surprises but also big confrontations, minus the qualification of Iraklis against Aris and the elimination of AEL from the group stage by teams of lower divisions. Most remarkable result of second round was the elimination of Panionios by Atromitos. Even if Panionios won 5–0 in the Nea Smyrni Stadium, it was changed in 0–2 without match, because of outlaw use of a footballer by home team side, while they did not accomplish to reverse the score in the second leg. The 1990–91 Greek Football Cup was the 49th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. Greek Amateur Cup (Greek: Κύπελλο Ερασιτεχνικών Ομάδων Ελλάδος) was the most known competitions for amateur AND semi-professional teams in Greece, organised by the Hellenic Football Federation . It was founded in 1971 and folded in 2018 featuring the winners of the prefectures Cups in a knock-out format. Despite the term ''amateur'' on its official name the competition always featured clubs from Delta Ethniki and later the third-tier Gamma Ethniki.
