Greek Basketball Championship career statistical leaders are the all-time stats leaders of the top-tier level Greek Basketball Championship, since the league first formed its A National Category, starting with the 1963–64 season. The all-time stats leaders are divided into separate categories, based on total stats counted since the A National Category of the league was first formed, beginning with the 1963–64 season, total stats counted since the A1 National Category was first formed, beginning with the 1986–87 season, and total stats counted since the 1992–93 season, when the league first became recognized by FIBA as a fully and entirely 100% professional league of basketball. The Greek basketball league system is a number of interconnected competitions for professional basketball clubs in Greece. The system has a hierarchical format with a promotion and relegation system between competitions at different levels. There are nine different competition levels in the system. The highest level competitions are the professional and semi professional nationwide competitions, which include the top-tier level Greek Basketball League (GBL), the second-tier level Greek A2 Basketball League, the third-tier level Greek B Basketball League, and the fourth-tier level Greek C Basketball League. Pavlos Stamelos (Greek: Παύλος Σταμέλος; born August 2, 1950, in Greece) is a Greek retired professional basketball player and coach. At 6'4" (1.93 m) in height, he played at the power forward and center positions. Professional career Stamelos started his club playing career with the junior teams of Sporting Athens in 1964. With Sporting, he was the Greek League Top Scorer in the 1977–78 season. He moved to AEK Athens for the 1979–80 season, where he played until 1981. In the top-tier level amateur Greek Championship (1963–1992), he played in 361 games, and scored a total of 6,645 points, which was the 8th most total points scored in the competition. Charilaos "Charis" Papageorgiou (alternate spellings: Harilaos, Haris) (Greek: Χαρίλαος "Χάρης" Παπαγεωργίου; born March 26, 1953, in Thessaloniki, Greece) is a Greek retired professional basketball player and current basketball executive.
