Greeff's giant gecko (''Hemidactylus greeffii)'', also known Common name, commonly as Greeff's gecko, is a species of lizard in the Family (biology), family Gekkonidae. The species is found on islands in the Gulf of Guinea off the east coast of Africa. Etymology The Specific name (zoology), specific name, ''greeffii'', is in honor of German zoologist Richard Greeff,species:Bo Beolens, Beolens, Bo; species:Michael Watkins, Watkins, Michael; Grayson, Michael (2011).
