Hellenic Olympic Committee
The Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) ( el, Ελληνική Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή) is the governing Olympic body of Greece. Nikoleta Kyriakopoulou
Nikoleta 'Nikol' Kyriakopoulou ( el, Νικολέτα "Νικολ" Κυριακοπούλου, born 21 March 1986) is a Greek pole vaulter. Nikoleta was 8th at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021. She also won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Beijing in 2015 jumping 4.80m. During the 2015 season, she set five Greek records (indoor and outdoor) raising the bar to 4,83 meters. The same year, she became the first Greek athlete to win the 2015 IAAF Diamond League in pole vaul., IAAF Diamond League. Her first success in a major event was in 2012 when she won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Helsinki. One year earlier, in 2011, she finished 8th at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu. She also won the 2009 Mediterranean Games with a Games record of 4.50 meters, while as a junior athlete she was 6th at the World Championships in Grosseto in 2004. Georgia Kokloni
Georgia (or Yeoryía) Koklóni ( el, Γεωργία Κοκλώνη) (born 7 May 1981 in Athens) is a Greek sprinter who specializes in 60 metres and 100 metres. Her first major competition was the 2001 IAAF World Indoor Championships, but she was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 60 m. She won the 60 m bronze at the 2002 European Athletics Indoor Championships, however, and went on to win a gold medal at the 2003 European Athletics U23 Championships, winning the 100 m in 11.33 seconds. Her first global outdoor championships was the 2003 World Championships in Athletics, where she was part of the Greek 4 x 100 metres relay team. They finished third in their heat but were not fast enough to reach the final. Eleftherios "Lefteris" Kosmidis (Greek: Ελευθέριος "Λευτέρης" Κοσμίδης; born 6 May 1991) in Greece is an international elite artistic gymnast and a former world champion on Men's Floor Exercise. He was named the 2010 Greek Male Athlete of the Year. Early life Kosmidis was born on May 6, 1991, in Athens, Greece to parents, Thanasis and Sofia Kosmidis; both of whom were elite gymnasts. Similarly, his brother, Xenofon, has competed internationally as an elite gymnast. They both participated at the 2006 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He commenced gymnastics training at the age of five.
