The Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) is a public engineering institute affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in Kerala, ndia. The institute was established in October 1986 by Directorate of Technical Education under the Government of Kerala. In 2012, ''Careers360'', a magazine promoted by Outlook Group, ranked it among the best engineering institutes in Kerala with AA+ rating. GCEK has grown into a sprawling campus in Mangattuparamba, just off Expressways of India, National Highway NH-17, north from the district headquarters, Kannur and south of Taliparamba. Byju Raveendran (Malayalam: ബൈജു രവീന്ദ്രൻ; born 1980) is an Indian entrepreneur, investor and educator who, with his wife Divya Gokulnath, co-founded Byju's.
