. Kumo is a city and the headquarters of Akko local government in Gombe state, northeastern Nigeria. Kumo is the second largest commercial center in Gombe state, It is located on the A345 highway approximately 40 km south of Gombe. National Universities Commission
The National Universities Commission (NUC) is a government commission for promoting quality higher education in Nigeria. Situated in Abuja, it was established in 1962 as an advisory agency in the cabinet office. In 1974, it became a statutory body and its first executive secretary was professor Jibril Aminu. NUC is currently part of the Federal Ministry of Education and is a parastatal (government-owned corporation). Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (born October 9, 1961) is a Nigerian businessman and politician. He is the Executive Governor of Gombe State elected on 9 March 2019, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). Early life He was born on October 9, 1961 in Jekadafari, Gombe State. His father, Alhaji Yahaya Umaru, was a famous businessman. Education Yahaya attended the Central Primary School and the Government Science Secondary School in Gombe.
