Go Faster Stripe
Go Faster Stripe is an independent filmmaking, film production and Distribution (business), distribution company that operates out of the Chapter Arts Centre, in Cardiff, Wales. The company specialises in the recording of live shows by stand-up comedians who, while in the public eye, may not normally be able to get a DVD released through a major label, or who want to avoid forms of censorship that they feel may come with mainstream releases. Initially a baby clothes retailer, the company used its internet presence to diversify into comedy releases in 2005. Go Faster Stripe are closely associated with Stewart Lee and Richard Herring, who first became famous as the Lee and Herring double act in the 1990s, and whose work they have often published. In addition to Herring and Lee, the company has produced media for acts such as Simon Munnery, Lucy Porter and Robin Ince. ''Go Faster'' is the sixteenth official studio album by guitarist/vocalist Richie Kotzen. While ''Go Faster'' was only released in US, the album was released in Europe and Japan under different name called ''Return of the Mother Head's Family Reunion'' with different cover and distinct songs order plus a bonus track. Simon Munnery
Simon Munnery is an English comedian. Early life Born in Middlesex, Munnery grew up in Bedmond and was educated at Watford Grammar School for Boys, where he earned four A Levels. He read natural sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge but soon lost interest in science and joined the Footlights. In 1987, he became vice-president with Peter Bradshaw as president. After graduating with "a very high third", he did various menial jobs before making his big break into comedy. He has described praise of his work as implying his work occupies a place between "unfunny comedy" and "shit art". Munnery had a short-lived career as a video game programmer. His most famous title was a version of ''Asteroids'' for the Commodore International VIC-20 (a game that Jeff Minter once described as a "pile of wank"). Chortle is a British comedy website launched in 2000 by Steve Bennett. The site is a major source of comedy news in the UK. It also reviews comedy shows nationwide, including extensively at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and presents the Chortle Awards to honour the best stand-up comics working in the UK.
