Girlfriend (Matthew Sweet Album)
''Girlfriend'' is the third studio album by American alternative rock musician Matthew Sweet. It was released on Zoo Entertainment in 1991. The album was ranked at number 61 on ''Paste'' magazine's list of "The 90 Best Albums of the 1990s". Recording Sweet recorded ''Girlfriend'' in 1990, following his divorce. He later said to ''Rolling Stone'', "It's funny how the album ended up showing everything I needed to feel. Everything I needed as an antidote is there." Sidney Matthew Sweet (born October 6, 1964) is an American alternative rock/power pop singer-songwriter and musician who was part of the burgeoning music scene in Athens, Georgia, during the 1980s before gaining commercial success in the 1990s as a solo artist. His companion albums, '' Tomorrow Forever'' and '' Tomorrow's Daughter'', were followed by 2018's '' Wicked System of Things'' and 2021's '' Catspaw'', his 15th studio effort. ''Evangeline'' is a 1980s comic book co-created and written initially by then-husband and wife team Chuck Dixon and Judith Hunt, with pencils by Hunt and inks by Ricardo Villagran. Letters were by cartoonist and letterer Ed King of the ''Star Wars'' comic strip. The art for the first few issues of ''Evangeline'' was unusual for the time period, in that it was not printed using process color, but instead each page was hand-painted by Hunt and then color separated. This method was introduced by the newly formed independent comic companies and was encouraged by the cheaper printing methods of the 1980s. Lum the Invader Girl (), known in Japan simply as , is a fictional character and the female protagonist of Rumiko Takahashi's manga series ''Urusei Yatsura''. She is often believed to be the main protagonist of the series due to her iconic status. However, Takahashi has stated that Ataru Moroboshi is the main character. She is named Lamu in Animax's English-language dub of the series, and in the Italian and French anime dubs as well; however she is still called "Lum" in the Spanish anime dub. Urusei Yatsura
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's ''Weekly Shōnen Sunday'' from September 1978 to February 1987. Its 366 individual chapters were collected in 34 ''tankōbon'' volumes. It tells the story of Ataru Moroboshi, and the alien Lum (Urusei Yatsura), Lum, who believes she is Ataru's wife after he accidentally proposes to her. The series makes heavy use of Japanese mythology, Culture of Japan, culture, and puns. It was adapted into two anime television series that aired on Fuji TV affiliates. The manga series was republished in different formats in Japan. "The Movie" is the fourteenth episode of the fourth season of the American television sitcom ''Seinfeld'' (and the 54th episode overall). Much is a Canadian English language discretionary specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults. It is headquartered at 299 Queen Street West in what was once called the MuchMusic World Headquarters. This channel was originally launched on August 31, 1984 as MuchMusic, under the ownership of CHUM Limited, the owner of Citytv Toronto, though "Much" has been the branding most commonly seen on-air since 1997.
