The Georgetown Hoyas men's soccer team represents Georgetown University in all men's Division I NCAA soccer competitions. They won a national championship in 2019, and was the national runner-up in 2012. They have made nine total appearances in the NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Championship, and have won the Big East conference tournament four times and the regular season title seven times. Brian Wiese
Brian Wiese is the head men's soccer coach at Georgetown University, Georgetown. He has coached at Georgetown since 2006. He also served as a top assistant coach at Stanford University, Stanford, and University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame. While an assistant, those squads went a combined 136–48–25, including nine straight tournament appearances. From 1996 to 2001, he served as an assistant coach at Stanford, where the team posted a 71–21–12 record. Brandon Allen (soccer)
Brandon Allen (born October 8, 1993) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward. Allen is the younger brother of soccer player R. J. Allen. Early career Allen attended St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ where he scored 118 goals throughout his four-year varsity career. During his time in high school he was also a member of the New York Red Bulls' academy program where he scored 28 goals during the 2010–2011 season followed by 27 goals in 2011–2012. During his tenure at Georgetown, Allen was a standout player where he earned All-American honors three times and was named as a finalist for the Hermann Trophy in 2015. At the conclusion of his 91-game career with the Hoyas, Allen recorded 50 goals and 17 assists, making him the all-time leading scorer in school history. The Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team represents Indiana University Bloomington. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Indiana is considered one of the most successful collegiate soccer programs in the history of the sport. Keith Tabatznik
Keith D. Tabatznik is a former collegiate head men's soccer coach and currently a Talent ID Scout and Coach Educator for US Soccer. He's most famous for coaching Georgetown University from 1984 to 2005. The 22 year head coach compiled a 220–178–22 record, and remains Georgetown's all-time winningest soccer coach. He led his teams to the Big East conference tournament 12 straight seasons at one point. From 1998 to 1999, the Hoyas reached the championship match of the Big East Championships, and won 15 games both seasons. His 1997 squad saw the Hoyas capture their first ever NCAA tournament victory with a 2–1 victory over Virginia Commonwealth University. He was named Big East conference coach of the year that season. Dante Polvara (born June 21, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for club Aberdeen. He played college soccer for Georgetown University. Polvara was the 2021 recipient of the Hermann Trophy awarded to the best college soccer player in the United States. Joshua Yaro (born 18 November 1994) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for St. Louis City SC in Major League Soccer. Youth and college soccer Joshua moved to the United States on a scholarship to attend Cate School in Carpinteria, California where he played soccer.
