Gastón Claudio Giménez (born 27 July 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Paraguayan Primera División club Cerro Porteño. Born in Argentina, he plays for the Paraguay national team. Club career Giménez's career started in 2011 with Almirante Brown. His debut arrived at the beginning of the 2011–12 Primera B Nacional season, when he played the final fifteen minutes in a goalless draw away to Rosario Central on 1 October 2011. In February 2012, Giménez scored the first goal of his career in a 2–0 win over Defensa y Justicia. After one goal in nineteen games in his first season, Giménez went onto make another sixty-nine appearances and score three more goals for the club across the next two seasons. Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, (English "National B Division"), and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 38 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Cap-tied is an adjective, used primarily in association football, to describe a player who has represented a senior national football team in more than three games (including at least one competitive game) and as a result is unable to represent another FIFA-affiliated national team. The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification acted as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). A total of 4.5 slots (4 direct slots and 1 inter-confederation play-off slot) in the final tournament were available for CONMEBOL teams. Manuel Eduardo Berizzo Magnolo (; born 13 November 1969) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a central defender, currently manager of Liga MX club León. During his 18-year professional career he played for six teams in four countries, mainly Newell's Old Boys, River Plate and Celta. He represented Argentina in two Copa América tournaments.
