Father To Be
''Father to Be'' ( sv, Jag är med barn) is a 1979 Swedish comedy-drama film directed by Lasse Hallström. Plot Bosse (Magnus Härenstam) is a young ad man, fascinated with cinema, with secret dreams of being an author. He meets Lena (Anki Lidén) at a diner, and after a period of dating, she becomes pregnant. Bosse tries to deal with the situation through an imaginary friend (Micha Gabay), an English-speaking American inspired by various tough guys from American genre films, with a knack for impulsive action but little respect for or understanding of fatherhood. Lasse Hallström
Lars Sven "Lasse" Hallström (; born 2 June 1946) is a Swedish film director. He first became known for directing almost all the music videos by the pop group ABBA, and subsequently became a feature film director. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director for '' My Life as a Dog (Mitt liv som hund)'' (1985) and later for '' The Cider House Rules'' (1999). His other celebrated directorial works include ''What's Eating Gilbert Grape'' (1993) and '' Chocolat'' (2000). Early life Hallström was born in Stockholm, Sweden. His father Nils Hallström was a dentist and his mother was the writer Karin Lyberg (1907–2000). Barbro Hiort Af Ornäs
Barbro Hiort af Ornäs (28 August 1921 – 27 November 2015) was a Swedish stage and film actress. Biography She was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, the daughter of Alma ( née Ärnström) and Erik Hiort af Ornäs. She had a brother, Torbjorn. Along with Bibi Andersson, Eva Dahlbeck, and Ingrid Thulin, she won the Best Actress Award at the 1958 Cannes Film Festival for '' Brink of Life''. In 1989, she was given the Litteris et Artibus for her services to the arts in Sweden. Hiort af Ornäs died in Bromma on 28 November 2015, aged 94. Runes are the letters in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets native to the Germanic peoples.
