"Situation" is a 1982 single by British synth-pop band Yazoo. The song was released in the UK as the B-side to Yazoo's debut single " Only You", which went to number two on the UK singles chart. Released as a single in North America, the song peaked at number 73 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in the US, and hit the top 40 in Canadian charts, peaking at number 31. In late-summer 1982 it became Yazoo's first song to top the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart, remaining at number one on this chart for four weeks. "Bizarre Love Triangle" is a song by English rock band New Order, released as a single in November 1986 from their fourth studio album, '' Brotherhood'' (1986), which reached the top five on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart, and 5 on the Australian ARIA Charts in March 1987. "Forever Young" is a song by German synth-pop band Alphaville released as the third single from the song's titular debut album. The single was successful in Scandinavia and in the European German-speaking countries in the same year. The single has been covered by numerous artists. Alphaville is a German synth-pop band formed in Münster in 1982. They gained popularity in the 1980s. The group was founded by singers Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. They achieved chart success with the singles " Forever Young", " Big in Japan", " Sounds Like a Melody", " The Jet Set", and " Dance with Me". Gold remains the only continuous original member of Alphaville. They took their name from Jean-Luc Godard's film ''Alphaville''. "Shake the Disease" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released as a single on 29 April 1985. It's one of two new songs on the 1985 compilation albums '' The Singles 81→85'' and '' Catching Up with Depeche Mode'', along with the band's subsequent single "It's Called a Heart". Background Band member Alan Wilder felt this song captured the essence of the band, saying that "there's a certain edge to what we do that can make people think twice about things. Jody Wisternoff
Joseph Wisternoff (born 25 November 1973) is an English electronic music producer and DJ. He is best known as one half of the electronic music duo Way Out West, and also as a solo producer of dance music spanning early 1990s hardcore to deep house. Biography Wisternoff's first break came in the late 1980s as one half of the duo Tru Funk Posse (with brother Sam Wisternoff) when Bristol-based producers Smith & Mighty opened up their studio to them. Their tracks were playlisted by DJ Tim Westwood and the brothers appeared in '' The Face'' magazine. In the early 1990s, Wisternoff DJ'd at clubs such as Universe and Fantasia and produced tracks with DJ Die (now of Reprazent fame) under the name Sub Love, along with singer and songwriter Sue Brice (Coco Star), the vocalist of Fragma's Toca's Miracle.
