Further Sky
''Further Sky'' is an EP by English rock band Basement. The band went on hiatus in July 2012, prior to the release of their second album ''Colourmeinkindness'' in October 2012. They began practicing again around Christmas 2013, composing the song "Jet". Whilst guitarist Alex Henery was in the United States, the rest of the band wrote another song, "Summer's Colour". In late January 2014, they announced the end of their musical hiatus. Along with a cover of the Suede song "Animal Nitrate", the group recorded the aforementioned original songs in early 2014. Recording was done in secret at Livingston Studio 1 in London, with producer Dan Goudie. On 28 July 2014, the ''Further Sky'' EP was released through Run for Cover Records, and was available for streaming three days prior. Basement are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Ipswich, Ipswich, Suffolk, in 2009. Their debut studio album, ''I Wish I Could Stay Here'', was released in 2011. The next year, ''Colourmeinkindness'' was released, charting on the US ''Billboard'' Top 200. After touring in support of ''Colourmeinkindness'', the band went on hiatus in 2012. In 2014, they reunited to release the EP ''Further Sky''. The next album, ''Promise Everything'', charted in 2016 in Australia, the UK and the US. I Wish I Could Stay Here
''I Wish I Could Stay Here'' is the debut studio album by English rock band Basement. After forming in 2010, the band released a demo and signed to Run for Cover. Following this, the band toured across the UK and Europe in late 2010 and early 2011. They recorded their debut album ''I Wish I Could Stay Here'' in May 2011 at Stuck on a Name Studios in Nottingham. "Grayscale" was made available for streaming in June. ''I Wish I Could Stay Here'' was released a month later. Following this, the group embarked on tours of the UK, the US and Australia. The album received favourable reviews from critics, and featured on ''Thrash Hits'' top 20 albums of 2011 list. LVL UP was an American lo-fi band from Purchase, New York, United States. History LVL UP formed in 2011 at SUNY Purchase as a recording project between Mike Caridi, Dave Benton, and their friend Ben Smith, with the original intention of releasing a split cassette with Nick Corbo's then-solo material. Whirr (originally known as Whirl) is an American shoegaze band from Modesto, California. Formed in 2010, the group currently consists of vocalist and guitarist Loren Rivera, guitarists Nick Bassett and Joseph Bautista, bassist Eddie Salgado, and drummer Devin Nunes. History Originally known as Whirl, the band had to legally change its name after a woman performing acoustic covers of Black Sabbath songs trademarked the name and threatened a lawsuit. Better Off is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2011 under the name Friends. They changed their name in early 2013 to Better Off due to another group sharing the Friends name. They have released two albums, ''(I Think) I'm Leaving'' (2013) and ''Milk'' (2015), the latter of which charted on the Heatseekers Albums and Independent Albums charts. Groezrock
Groezrock was an annual music festival that took place in Meerhout, Belgium. It started as a small rock music, rock and pop music, pop festival with one stage and a few hundred people attending, but evolved into a large punk rock/hardcore punk festival, with attendances exceeding 30,000. The festival had one stage until 2003, when it added a second stage called Back-to-Basics, which was reserved for more hardcore-oriented bands. Since 2006 the festival has taken place over multiple days, and grew to three stages in 2009 and four stages in 2012. It was announced in October 2017 that the 2018 edition of Groezrock would not be taking place in the Spring, and would instead be an indoor festival in the autumn. Cloakroom is an American shoegaze band from Northwest Indiana. They are currently signed to Closed Casket Activities. History The band formed in June 2012. Lead singer and guitarist Doyle Martin was previously in the bands Grown Ups and Lion of the North, and bassist Bobby Markos was in the band Native. The band signed to Run For Cover Records in 2013. The band released their first extended play, titled ''Infinity'', in 2013 via Run For Cover. In 2014, the band released a single "Lossed Over," also on Run For Cover.
