was a Japanese comedian, television actor and voice actor. He starred in the 1961 NHK drama ''Wakai Kisetsu'', as well as the series ''Hatoko no Umi''. Osamu Fujimura 藤村靖 (August 29, 1927 – March 13, 2017) was a Japanese physicist, phonetician and linguist, recognized as one of the pioneers of speech science. Fujimura was also known for his influential work in the diverse field of speech-related studies including acoustics, phonetics/phonology, instrumentation techniques, speech production mechanisms, and computational/theoretical linguistics. After getting his Doctorate of Science from University of Tokyo, the University of Tokyo through the research he conducted at MIT, Fujimura served as director and professor at the Research Institute of Logopedics and Phoniatrics (RILP), at the University of Tokyo from 1965 to 1973. He then continued his research at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, New Jersey, in the U.S., from 1973 to 1988 as a department head, working for Max Mathews. is a Japanese amateur archaeologist who claimed he had found a large number of stone artifacts dating back to the Lower Paleolithic and Middle Paleolithic periods. Osamu Fujimura
is a former Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, who served as Chief Cabinet Secretary under Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda from 2011 to 2012. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 1993 to 2012. Early life and career Osamu Fujimura was born in Osaka on 3 November 1949. He studied engineering at Hiroshima University, where he was a member of the automobile club. As a student became interested in the plight of orphans from traffic accidents and came in contact with Yoshiomi Tamai. After graduating he began working in the secretariat of the Association for Traffic Accident Orphans, which Tamai founded. Misao Fujimura
was a Japanese philosophy student and poet, largely remembered due to his farewell poem. Biography Fujimura was born in Hokkaidō. His grandfather was a former samurai of the Morioka Domain, and his father relocated to Hokkaidō after the Meiji Restoration as a director of the forerunner of Hokkaido Bank. Fujimura graduated from middle school in Sapporo, and then relocated to Tokyo where he attended a preparatory school for entry into Tokyo Imperial University. He later traveled to Kegon Falls in Nikko, a famed scenic area, and wrote his farewell poem directly on the trunk of a tree before committing suicide.Suicide Note

is a Japanese operatic mezzo-soprano who made an international career based in Europe. She was recognized internationally after her 2002 debut at the Bayreuth Festival as Fricka in Wagner's ''Ring'' cycle.
