Fuji River
The is a river in Yamanashi Prefecture, Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefectures of central Japan. It is long and has a drainage basin, watershed of . With the Mogami River and the Kuma River (Japan), Kuma River, it is regarded as one of the three most rapid flows of Japan. Fujikawa, Shizuoka
was a town located in Ihara District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of November 2008, the town had an estimated population of 16,359 and a density of 529 persons per km2. The total area was 30.92 km2. On November 1, 2008, Fujikawa was merged into the expanded city of Fuji. Ihara District was dissolved as a result of this merger. Fujikawa Village was founded on April 1, 1889. It attained town status on January 25, 1901. The is a limited express train service in Japan operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central), which runs between Shizuoka and Kōfu. Since October 1995, it has been branded as ''Wide View Fujikawa'', following the introduction of new 373 series EMUs replacing the previous 165 series trains. A prolific creator of more than 50 books for children, her work is regularly in reprint and has been translated into 17 languages and published in 22 countries. Kyuji Fujikawa
is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher who currently serves as the manager for the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He played in NPB from 1999 to 2012, and 2016 to 2020 for Hanshin, and in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers. Fujikawa pitched in the 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classics as well as the 2008 Beijing Olympics. A prototypical power pitcher, Fujikawa is said to have one of the most explosive fastballs in all of Japanese professional baseball and is one of Japan's premier relievers. Early life Fujikawa was born in Kōchi, Kōchi, in 1980, making him a member of the so-called Matsuzaka Generation. Takayuki Fujikawa
was a Japanese football player. Playing career Fujikawa was born in Kawasaki on October 10, 1962. He joined Japan Soccer League club Yomiuri (later ''Verdy Kawasaki'') from youth team in 1981. He played many matches as goalkeeper in 1985–86 season. After that, he battles with Shinkichi Kikuchi for the position for a long time. In 1992, Japan Soccer League was folded and founded new league J1 League. However, his opportunity to play decreased behind Kikuchi. He retired at the end of the 1995 season.
