Frank O'Brien (rugby Union)
Frank William Hall O'Brien (19 July 1910 — 23 December 1984) was an Australian rugby union Rugby union football, commonly known simply as rugby union in English-speaking countries and rugby 15/XV in non-English-speaking world, Anglophone Europe, or often just rugby, is a Contact sport#Terminology, close-contact team sport that orig ... international. Born in Sydney, O'Brien was gifted in several sports in his youth. While attending North Sydney Boys High School, he had three years in the 1st XV rugby and 1st XI cricket teams, before transferring to Sydney Grammar School for his final year. O'Brien was a five-time New South Wales state pentathlon champion and in 1932 won a Australian Athletics Championships, national title for the 440 yard sprint, beating 1930 British Empire Games bronze medallist George Golding. Lindfield, New South Wales
Lindfield is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 13 kilometres north-west of the Sydney Central Business District and is in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council. East Lindfield is a separate suburb to the east, sharing the postcode of 2070. This suburb of 5.17 square kilometres contains residential housing of California bungalow and federation style, in double brick and tile construction. Gordonians RFC is a rugby union team based in Aberdeen, Scotland, founded in 1904. It takes its name from originally being the former pupils' club for Robert Gordon's College in the city. The team currently fields two squads: The 1st XV currently competes in thScottish National League Division2, the third tier of Scottish rugby, while the 2nd XV, nicknamed the "Jolly Boys", competes in the Caledonia North 2nd. league.
