Ford Valencia Body and Assembly (VB&A) is an automobile manufacturing plant owned by the Ford Motor Company and located in Almussafes on the southern edge of the Valencian Community, Spain. With a production capacity of 450,000 vehicles a year and 8,000 employees, it is Ford's largest manufacturing complex outside of the United States. The is a subcompact/ supermini/ B-segment small car manufactured by Mazda since 1996. While sold across four generations in the domestic Japanese market, the Demio nameplate was rarely used outside of Japan, where it was usually called the Mazda2. The Ford Orion is a small family car (C-segment in Europe) that was produced by Ford Europe from 1983 until 1993. A total of 3,534,239 units were sold during the car's ten-year production life.
