Força Lleida Club Esportiu, also known as Hiopos Lleida for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Lleida, Spain. It plays in the Liga ACB with it home games played at the Espai Fruita Barris Nord. History The club born in the summer of 2012 with the aim to substitute existent CE Lleida Bàsquet, which had several economic problems. In its first season, Força Lleida qualified for the playoffs, after finalizing 7th in Regular Season, but was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Palencia. The next season, the team got the same number of victories than the past year (11), but this time just could get the 10th position. In 2015 the club achieved its best performance after reaching to the semifinals of the playoffs, but just one season later, Força Lleida finished in the last position becoming relegated to LEB Plata. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administered by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams Promotion and relegation, relegated to the Primera FEB and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Española de Baloncesto (1957–1983), Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. Emmanuel Andújar
Emmanuel "Emmy" Andújar (born January 27, 1992) is an American-Puerto Rican basketball for Cariduros de Fajardo of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He also represents Puerto Rico internationally. Earlier, Andújar played college basketball for the Manhattan Jaspers. Early life Andújar played four years at Rice High School and helped guide the Raiders to the 2011 CHSAA class AA championship game. LEB Catalan Basketball League
The LEB Catalan basketball league is the 2nd-tier level regional professional preseason basketball competition that is organized by the Catalan Basketball Federation since 2000, in Catalonia, Spain.
