Football At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held from 25 July to 10 August 2024. It was the eighth edition of the women's Olympic football tournament. Together with the men's competition, the 2024 Summer Olympics football tournament was held at seven stadiums in seven cities in France. The United States won a record-extending fifth gold medal, and their first since 2012, defeating Brazil 1–0 in the final, held at Parc des Princes in Paris. Schedule The schedule was as follows. Qualification In addition to host nation France, eleven women's national teams qualified from six separate continental confederations. The Organising Committee for FIFA Competitions ratified the distribution of spots at their meeting on 24 February 2022. 2023–24 UEFA Women's Nations League
The 2023–24 UEFA Women's Nations League was the inaugural season of the UEFA Women's Nations League, an international women's football competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the member associations of UEFA. The league phase of the competition was played between September and December 2023, with the finals tournament taking place in February 2024. The results also determined the leagues for the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying competition, and which two teams (in addition to hosts France) qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The Matmut Atlantique, also known as the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux (, "New Bordeaux Stadium"), is a football stadium in Bordeaux, France.
