Florida Gulf Coast Eagles Men's Soccer
DISPLAYTITLE The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's soccer team represents Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida in all NCAA Division I men's soccer competitions. The Eagles compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The soccer team is one of several varsity sports teams that represent the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. The team made the NCAA tournament in the first year of eligibility in 2011, and returned in 2012, 2014, and 2016. FGCU Soccer Complex
The FGCU Soccer Complex is the home field for the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's soccer team and the FGCU Eagles women's soccer team. The FGCU men's soccer team has played at the complex since the team's home debut against UNLV on September 9, 2007. The record crowd for the stadium and for the women's soccer team is 2,014, which was set when the stadium for the first time hosted a 2014 NCAA tournament women's soccer match. 2016 Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2016 ASUN men's soccer tournament, the 38th edition of the tournament, determined the ASUN Conference's automatic berth into the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. This was the first tournament held under the conference's current branding as the ASUN Conference. The league had been known as the Atlantic Sun Conference since 2002. Corbett Soccer Stadium
The University of South Florida athletic facilities are the stadiums and arenas the South Florida Bulls use for their home games and training. The University of South Florida currently sponsors 19 varsity athletic teams and has 11 facilities in the designated Athletics District on or adjacent to its Tampa campus, one on its St. Petersburg campus, and one elsewhere in Tampa. 18 of the 19 teams have some sort of facility in the USF Athletics District. The Claw The Claw was the home golf course used by the USF men's and women's golf teams, and was also used by the men's and women's cross country teams. It was located across Fletcher Avenue from USF's main campus in Tampa. The course was named for a tree on the 14th hole with a large, claw-shaped branch. The 2024 ASUN men's soccer tournament was the 46th edition of the postseason men's soccer tournament for the ASUN Conference, held from November 9 through November 16, 2024. All rounds of the tournament were hosted at the first and second seeds home stadiums, with the #1 seed Stetson, hosting the Final. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Lipscomb Bison were the defending tournament champions, and were unsuccessful in defending their title, as they finished eighth during the conference regular season and did not qualify for the tournament. 2021 Spring ASUN Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2021 Spring ASUN men's soccer tournament was the 42nd edition of the ASUN Men's Soccer Tournament. It determined the ASUN Conference's automatic berth for the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament. The tournament began on April 10, 2021, and concluded on April 18. The final had originally been scheduled for April 17, but the intended final site of Southern Oak Stadium on the Jacksonville University campus in Jacksonville, Florida was rendered unplayable due to severe weather. The match was delayed by a day and moved to the Stetson University campus in DeLand, Florida. Due to COVID-19 issues, the NCAA moved the 2020–21 men's soccer championship from fall 2020 to spring 2021.
