''Florida Doesn't Suck'' is a split extended play by Floridian indie outfits, Fake Problems and You Blew It!. Critical reception The extended play was released before either band received much mainstream attention, so there are very few professional reviews on the EP. Tori Pope of Punknews.org gave the extended play three-and-half stars out of five. Pope praised Fake Problems Fake Problems were a four-piece indie rock band from Naples, Florida. They released their first full-length album, '' How Far Our Bodies Go'', on Sabot Productions on April 27, 2007. Fake Problems
Fake Problems were a four-piece indie rock band from Naples, Florida. They released their first full-length album, '' How Far Our Bodies Go'', on Sabot Productions on April 27, 2007. Their second record, '' It's Great to Be Alive'', was released through Side One Dummy Records on February 17, 2009. Their third record '' Real Ghosts Caught On Tape'' was released September 21, 2010, also on Sideonedummy. The band broke up in 2014. Biography History and background Fake Problems was created by Chris Farren, Derek Perry, Casey Lee, and Sean Stevenson in 2005. Farren was in another band at the time, but he wanted to expand his creativity and write different music. All of the band members grew up in Naples and have known each other since they were about 14 years old. The members have been able to make the band a full-time obligation by allowing for a relentless touring schedule. Batavia, New York
Batavia is a city in and the county seat of Genesee County, New York, United States. It is located near the center of the county, surrounded by the Town of Batavia, which is a separate municipality. Batavia's population, as of the 2020 census, was 15,600. It is considered to be part of the Rochester–Batavia–Seneca Falls combined statistical area. ''Grow Up, Dude'' is the debut studio album by Floridian emo band, You Blew It! The album was released through Topshelf Records on April 24, 2012. Released through Topshelf, it was the band's second release on Topshelf, and their first LP through Topshelf. In June and July 2013, the group went on a short US tour with Mixtapes, Modern Baseball and Light Years. Critical reception ''Grow Up, Dude'' has received mostly positive reviews from music critics. Brandon Wall-Fudge of the Sanctuary Review gave a rave review of the album stating that the band "does do the quieter side with great poise, the band really show off some great talent in the more energetic cuts". You Blew It! was an American emo quintet based in Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2009 by Tanner Jones, Timothy Flynn, and Matt Messore. History In 2012, the band released their debut LP, '' Grow Up, Dude'' under Topshelf Records. Prior to their LP, the band released two EPs: ''EP'' in 2009 and ''The Past in the Present'' in 2010. Following ''Grow Up, Dude'' the band released a split EP in 2013 entitled ''Florida Doesn't Suck'' with fellow Floridian band Fake Problems.
