Bill Finkbeiner
William E. Finkbeiner (born May 5, 1969) is an American businessman and politician who served as a member of the Washington State Senate, representing the 45th district from 1995 2007. Originally a Democrat, he became a Republican in 1994 following the Republican Revolution and served as a member of the Washington House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995. In 2003 he became the youngest Senate Majority Leader in the history of the Washington State Senate. In a return to politics at age 43, he ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor in 2012 against incumbent Democrat Brad Owen. Early life Finkbeiner was born in Seattle and lives in Kirkland, Washington. Carleton "Carty" S. Finkbeiner (born May 30, 1939) is an American Democratic politician and former mayor of Toledo, Ohio. First elected in 1993, he took office on January 1, 1994. In 1997, he defeated challenger Nick Wichowski to win a second term. Term limits prevented him from running a third consecutive time. He was succeeded by former mayor Jack Ford in 2002. Following his first administration, Finkbeiner served on the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority board. He joined the ABC affiliate in Toledo and hosted ''Carty & Company'', a Sunday morning public affairs show. He also contributed a weekly editorial segment, ''It's Just Not Right!'' Finkbeiner left WTVG in May 2005. On June 30, 2005, Finkbeiner announced that he would seek a third term as mayor. Felix Finkbeiner
Felix Finkbeiner (born 8 October 1997) is a German environmentalist and the founder of the international tree-planting and environmental advocacy organization Plant-for-the-Planet. Life and education Finkbeiner is son of Frithjof Finkbeiner (businessman, activist and member of the Club of Rome) and Karolin Finkbeiner (textile engineer), with two sisters. He attended Munich International School from which he graduated in 2015. After living in London for three years, he graduated with a BA in International Relations from SOAS, University of London in 2018.
