The Fermanagh County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Fermanagh GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Fermanagh, Ireland. The county football team reached an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final replay in 2004, its best performance in the competition. Football Clubs Clubs contest the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship. Lisnaskea's win against St James' in the 2010–11 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship final meant it was the first Fermanagh GAA club to win an All-Ireland title. Brewster Park (Enniskillen)
Brewster Park is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA stadium in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of the Enniskillen Gaels and the County ground of Fermanagh GAA. The ground was renovated in 2007 and now has a capacity of roughly 18,000. The ground was named for Mickey Brewster, a Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player and father of Paul Brewster (Gaelic footballer), Paul Brewster. In the first match played in Brewster Park since the renovations, Fermanagh defeated Monaghan in the first round of the Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday, May 26, 2008 by a score of 2–8 to 0–10. Ederney St Joseph's GAC
Ederney St Joseph's is a Gaelic football club based in the village of Ederney, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club was first founded in May 1929, and went through various incarnations before winning their first Fermanagh Senior Football Championship title in 1968, beating Newtownbutler by 3–7 to 2–6. In 2004, Martin McGrath became Ederney's first All Star. Ederney reached the county finals in both 2006 and 2018, losing heavily to Enniskillen Gaels and Derrygonnelly Harps respectively. After a fifty-two year wait the club finally added its second senior championship in 2020, beating Derrygonnelly 2–8 to 1–6 in the final. Mayo County Football Team
The Mayo county football team (;) represents Mayo in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Mayo GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. Mayo's home ground is MacHale Park, Castlebar. The team's manager is Kevin McStay. 2003 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2003 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 117th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament. The championship began on 4 May 2003 and ended on 28 September 2003. Armagh entered the championship as the defending champions. On 28 September 2003, Tyrone won the championship following a 0-12 to 0-9 defeat of Armagh in the All-Ireland final. This was their first All-Ireland title. Tyrone's Peter Canavan was the championship's top scorer with 1-48. Armagh forward Steven McDonnell was the choice for the Vodafone Footballer of the Year award. Charlie Mulgrew (Gaelic Footballer)
Charlie Mulgrew (born 1960s) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player from County Donegal. Playing Mulgrew played for his school team, St Eunan's College. He repeated his Leaving Certificate at the College in 1978-79, playing for the team that won a MacLarnon Cup and All-Ireland B Final (Donegal's first ever title at All-Ireland level). He played his club football for St Eunan's. He won the 1982 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship with the Donegal county team. He played for the Donegal senior team between 1981 and 1992, winning the Sam Maguire Cup that year, as well as Ulster Senior Football Championship titles in 1983, 1990 and 1992. He sustained a broken jaw in the 1983 Ulster semi-final defeat of Monaghan. Ulster Senior Football Championship
The Ulster Senior Football Championship is an inter-county competition for Gaelic football teams in the Irish province of Ulster. It is organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and begins in April. The final is played in May, but, traditionally, was usually played on the third Sunday in July. All nine Ulster counties participate. It is regarded as hardest to win of the four provincial football championships. At a referee conference in January 2015, David Coldrick said about officiating in the competition: "Ulster makes or breaks you. It can be a graveyard. The games are different. Tempo Maguires GAC
Tempo Maguires is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Tempo, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club was affiliated in 1929 and won its first championship by claiming the Fermanagh Junior title in 1949. Tempo won their first Fermanagh Senior Football Championship title in 1970 and followed this up with wins in 1972 and 1973. Teemore Shamrocks is a Gaelic football club based in the village of Teemore, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. They are the most successful club in the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship having won it 21 times. History The club was founded in 1904 and won the inaugural Fermanagh Senior Championship that year. St Patrick's GFC is a Gaelic football club based in the village of Donagh, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club was founded in October 1971, with the ladies' football club founded in 1993. The club reached the final of the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship for the first time in 1976, losing to Enniskillen Gaels. The club lost further finals in 1982 and 1984 to Roslea Shamrocks, and in 2002 and 2003 to Enniskillen Gaels.
