Olympic Fencing Gymnasium
SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium () is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located at the Olympic Park, Seoul, Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea. The arena was built from September 1984 to April 1986. History It was known as the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium () or Olympic Gymnasium No. 2 prior to 2011. The arena hosted the Fencing at the 1988 Summer Olympics, fencing part of the Modern pentathlon at the 1988 Summer Olympics, modern pentathlon events at the 1988 Summer Olympics. In 2011 it was remodelled for handball games at a cost of , specialized with handball only courts. It was renamed as such to host the Handball Korea League, SK Handball Korea League. Luan Jujie ( zh, s=栾菊杰, p=Luán Jújié; born 14 July 1958) is a Chinese-born Canadian fencer, born in Nanjing, China. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, she became the first Chinese (and non-European) athlete to win the gold medal in fencing. Since moving to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1985, she has become a Canadian citizen. At the age of 50, Luan represented Canada at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
