Fatafehi ʻAlaivahamamaʻo Tukuʻaho
Prince Fatafehi ʻAlaivahamamaʻo Tukuʻaho, styled Lord Maʻatu (17 February 1954 – 17 December 2004), was a member of the Tongan royal family. Biography Prince Fatafehi ʻAlaivahamamaʻo Tukuʻaho was the second son of Tāufaʻāhau Tupou IV, Crown Prince Tāufaʻāhau and his wife, Halaevalu Mataʻaho ʻAhomeʻe, Crown Princess Halaevalu Mataʻaho, and a grandchild of Sālote Tupou III, Queen Sālote Tupou III of Tonga. He was known to be a staunch advocate for the growing democratic movement in Tonga and was dubbed the "people's prince" by activists. He died in Nukuʻalofa, Tonga on 17 December 2004 of a heart attack and is buried in the Royal Tongan Cemetery known as Malaʻekula. Fatafehi Fakafānua, known before ascending to his title as Fatafehi Kinikinilau Lolomana‘ia Fakafānua (born 20 March 1985), is a Tongan politician, Lord of the Realm and the Speaker of the Tongan Legislative Assembly. He is the 8th Lord Fakafānua. Biography He is the son of late Kinikinilau Tūtoatasi, 7th Lord Fakafānua and estate holder of Ma'ufanga, and Princess Sinaitakala 'Ofeina-'e-he-Langi Fakafānua. Fatafehi 'o Lapaha (1735–1825) was the 10th Tu'i Tonga Fefine (Female Sacred King) and was the daughter of Paulaho, the 36th Tu'i Tonga (Sacred King of Tonga). Her mother was Paulaho's Moheofo (Principal wife) Tupoumoheofo, who laid claimed to the Tu'i Kanokupolu and is recognised as the 12th Tu'i Kanokupolu. Prince Fatafehi Tuʻipelehake OBE (Sione Ngū Manumataongo; 7 January 1922 – 10 April 1999) was the youngest son of Queen Sālote Tupou III of Tonga. He was the prime minister of Tonga from 1965 to 1991, a record tenure of over 25 years, serving under his brother King Tāufaʻāhau Tupou IV. Alipate Fatafehi (born 13 December 1984) is a Tongan rugby union player who plays for Lyon OU in the Top 14 and the Tonga national team. Fatafehi first played professional rugby for Otago in New Zealand from 2006 to 2008 but failed to secure a regular spot in the team, dropping down to the North Otago side for two games in 2008 before gaining a spot in the team for Otago's last game of 2008. Mario Fatafehi (born January 27, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the fifth round of the 2001 NFL draft. His professional career involved stints with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
