Fantastic Four (2005 Film)
''Fantastic Four'' (sometimes stylized as ''Fantastic 4'') is a 2005 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It was directed by Tim Story, and released by 20th Century Fox. The film stars Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Julian McMahon, and Kerry Washington. The film follows the origins of the titular team as they learn to come to terms with their newfound abilities following their exposure to cosmic rays. This was the second live-action ''Fantastic Four'' film to be filmed. A previous attempt, titled '' The Fantastic Four'', was a B-movie produced by Roger Corman that ultimately went unreleased. Tim Story
Timothy Kevin Story is an American film director. He is best known for '' Barbershop'' (2002), ''Fantastic Four'' (2005), and the ''Ride Along'' franchise. He has been nominated for two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Directing in a Feature Film/Television Movie in 2006 and 2013. He is the founder of The Story Company, a production company co-founded with his future wife Vicky in 1996. John Ottman
John Ottman (born July 6, 1964) is an American film composer, director, and editor. He is best known for collaborating with director Bryan Singer, composing and/or editing many of his films, including '' Public Access'' (1993), ''The Usual Suspects'' (1995), ''Superman Returns'' (2006), ''Valkyrie'' (2008) and ''Jack the Giant Slayer'' (2013), as well as the ''X-Men'' film series. B-movie
A B movie, or B film, is a type of cheap, low-budget commercial motion picture. Originally, during the Classical Hollywood cinema, Golden Age of Hollywood, this term specifically referred to films meant to be shown as the lesser-known second half of a double feature, somewhat similar to A-side and B-side, B-sides in recorded music. However, the production of such films as "second features" in the United States largely declined by the end of the 1950s. This shift was due to the rise of commercial television, which prompted film studio B movie production departments to transition into television film production divisions.
