FTW Championship
The FTW ("Fuck The World") Championship was a professional wrestling championship. It was presented as an "outlaw" or "renegade" title that was unsanctioned by officials in-storyline, and often served as a hardcore championship, as many matches for the title were held under "FTW Rules". It was used in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1998 to 1999 and in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) from 2020 to 2024. The title was originally established in the now defunct ECW promotion in 1998 by its inaugural holder, Taz, which upon its introduction in AEW in 2020 made it the oldest championship in AEW until the title's retirement. It was originally unified into the ECW World Heavyweight Championship when then ECW World Heavyweight Champion Taz won the title from Sabu at Living Dangerously 1999. Grand Slam (2024)
The 2024 Grand Slam was a two-part professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the fourth annual Grand Slam event and took place on September 25, 2024, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in the Queens borough of New York City, encompassing the broadcasts of '' Wednesday Night Dynamite'' and '' Saturday Night Collision''. ''Dynamite'' aired live on TBS while ''Collision'' aired on tape delay on September 28 on TNT. Jonathan David Good (born December 7, 1985) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under the ring name Jon Moxley and is the current AEW World Championship, AEW World Champion in his record-setting fourth reign. In radio and television, broadcast delay is an intentional delay when broadcasting live material, technically referred to as a deferred live. Such a delay may be to prevent mistakes or unacceptable content from being broadcast. AEW Fyter Fest is a professional wrestling event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The event was established by the promotion in 2019 and is held during the summer between June and August. Since 2020, Fyter Fest has been held as a multi-part television special of AEW's weekly television programs. The name, slogan, and logo of the event are a parody of the fraudulent Fyre Festival. Championship unification is the act of combining two or more separate professional wrestling championships into a single title. History In professional wrestling, championships may be unified to consolidate the number of championships in a given promotion, or to add legitimacy and prestige to a certain title's lineage. Wrestlepalooza (1998) was the third Wrestlepalooza professional wrestling event produced by Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and the only edition of Wrestlepalooza to be broadcast on pay-per-view (PPV). The event took place on May 3, 1998 in the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia. Joey Styles provided commentary for the event. The PPV was billed as ECW "invading enemy territory", since the state of Georgia was the home of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in nearby Atlanta.
