Fabienne Suter
Fabienne Suter (born 5 January 1985) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from Switzerland. Born in Sattel in the canton of Schwyz, she specialized in super-G, giant slalom, and downhill. Career At the 2003 World Championships in St. Moritz, she fell in the giant slalom and injured her pelvis. While recovering, Suter resided in Calgary, Canada, with close family friends. This was followed by other injuries. Following appearances in FIS and Europa Cup races, she returned to the World Cup in for the 2007 She won a bronze medal as part of the team at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2007 with Sandra Gini, Nadia Styger, Rabea Grand, Daniel Albrecht and Marc Berthod. Racing career Born in Truckee, California, Cook started skiing at age 4 with her father at various Lake Tahoe ski areas and raced in the learn-to-race Buddy Werner League events run by the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District. Alexandra Coletti (born 8 August 1983 in La Colle, Monaco) is a Monaco, Monégasque alpine skier who competed for Monaco in the 2006 Winter Olympics. She also received the silver medal in downhill skiing at the 2005 European Cup. Marie Marchand-Arvier (born 8 April 1985) is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Born in Laxou, she won a silver medal in the super-G at the 2009 World Championships. She finished fifth in the combined, and sixth in the downhill. Marchand-Arvier competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, where her best result was 15th in the downhill. At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, she finished 7th in the downhill and tenth in the combined at Whistler Creekside. Marchand-Arvier married former biathlete Vincent Jay in June 2014. Marion Rolland (born 17 October 1982) is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Racing career Born in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, Isère, she made her World Cup debut in January 2004 and attained her first top-10 in February 2009 in Bansko. She has two World Cup podium finishes, both at the finals at Schladming in March 2012. After making her first Olympic team in 2010, Rolland took a tumble in the downhill only four seconds from the starting gate at Whistler. She has competed for France in three World Championships, in 2009, 2011 and 2013. Without a podium in the 2013 season, Rolland won the downhill world title at Schladming for her first career win.
